LNER class A4 Pacific no. 4468 Mallard holds the record as the fastest steam locomotive in the world. It is one of the most famous locomotives in the world and has attracted modellers ever since it was built. Trivia fans: Mallard was named after the ducks in the moat of the house where Sir Nigel Gresley was staying at the time. The house, Salisbury Hall in Hertfordshire, was also the birthplace of the De Havilland Mosquito.

Models are available in N, OO (electric and live steam), O and 1 gauge.
